A village in Dakkhiṇadesa of Sri Lanka where Saṅghatissa once camped (Cv.xliv.3). Dāṭhopatissa II (Hatthadāṭha) gave the village to the meditation hall (padhānaghara) in the Kassapa-vihāra.
