Ein Land, in das der Ältere Mahādhammarakkhita nach dem Dritten Buddhistischen Konzil zog, gewöhnlich mit dem Gebiet des Marāthī-Volkes nahe der Quelle des Godāvarī-Flusses gleichgesetzt.

A country where Mahādhammarakkhita went after the Third Council. It is generally identified with the country of the Marāthī at the source of the Godhāvarī. Mhv.xii.5, 37; Dpv.viii.8; Sp.i.64,67.
