Person大寺（Mahāvihāra）住持，因與俗家往來過密而被逐出僧團，此事促使其弟子 Bahalamassutissa 另立門戶、創立 Abhayagiri 派。
An incumbent of the Mahāvihāra. He was expelled by reason of his association with families. His pupil Bahalamassutissa thereupon seceded from the Mahāvihāra and established a new sect in Abhayagiri. Mhv.xxxiii.95 ff.
