A forest near Vesālī, partly natural and partly artificially planted, said to have extended all the way to the Himalayas.

A wood near Vesāli. It was partly natural, partly man-made, and extended up to the Himavā (MA.i.298; DA.i.309). See Kūṭāgārasālā.
