An officer of Parakkamabāhu I. He was sent to fight against Sūkarabhātu, and defeated him at Sāpatagamu.

He was put in charge of the campaign in Rohaṇa, his colleagues being Kitti and Bhūta.

Mañju practised great cruelty in order to instil terror into the hearts of the people.
