Person受波罗迦罗摩巴忽四世（Parakkamabāhu IV）委托将本生故事译成僧伽罗文的僧人，国王为他建了波罗迦罗摩巴忽僧房（pariveṇa），并赐予数座村庄作为供养。
He was entrusted by Parakkamabāhu IV with the translation of the Jātaka stories into Singhalese. The king built for him a pariveṇa called the Parakkamabāhu pariveṇa, and gave for its maintenance the villages of Purānagāma, Sannīrasela, Labujamaṇḍaka and Moravaṅka. Cv.xc.86.
