An Arahant. In the time of Padumuttara Buddha he was a garland maker, named Sudassana, and offered the Buddha a handful of jasmine flowers. Thirty-six world-cycles ago he became king sixteen times under the name of Devuttara (Ap.i.142).
He is evidently identical with Añjanavaniya. ThagA.i.128.
