Nāgita
Personकपिलवत्थु के एक शाक्य परिवार का अर्हत, जो मधुपिंडिक सुत्त सुनने के बाद संघ में प्रविष्ट हुआ, और जिसने पदुमुत्तर बुद्ध के समय नारद नामक ब्राह्मण के रूप में बुद्ध की स्तुति पद्य में की थी।
An Arahant. He belonged to a Sakyan family in Kapilavatthu and entered the Order after hearing the teaching of the Madhupiṇḍika Sutta.
In the time of Padumuttara Buddha he was a Brahmin, named Nārada, and uttered three stanzas in praise of the Buddha. He was once a king named Sumitta (Thag.vs.86; ThagA.i.183 f). He is probably identical with Atthasandassaka of the Apadāna (Ap.i.169).
