Sutta탁발에서 돌아온 사미가 가사 짓는 일을 돕지 않고 조용히 앉아 있었던 일이 부처님께 보고되고, 그 사미의 성취를 알아본 부처님이 그가 노력 없이도 사선四禪을 얻을 수 있으니 방해하지 말라고 비구들에게 이르는 경.
Once a novice, returning from his almsround, entered his cell and sat down in silence and at ease, not helping the monks with the robe making.
This was reported to the Buddha, who sent for the monk.
The Buddha discovered his abilities, and told the monks to leave him alone as he was one who could win, without toil, the four absorptions (jhāna) (S.ii.277).
