Pañcālacaṇḍī
PersonThe daughter of Cūḷani-Brahmadatta whose marriage to King Videha, arranged through the wisdom of Mahosadha, is the central theme of the Umaṅga Jātaka.
Daughter of Cūḷani-Brahmadatta. Her marriage with King Videha, which was accomplished by the wisdom and diplomacy of Mahosadha, forms the main theme of the Umaṅga Jātaka. She bore a son to Videha, who succeeded him ten years after the marriage.
