Also known as Pañcamahānadī

印度五大河的合稱——恆河（Gaṅgā）、閻牟那河（Yamunā）、Aciravatī 河、Sarabhū 河與 Mahī 河，常在譬喻中並舉。

In several places in the texts five rivers are mentioned as the five great rivers (mahānadī) of India, and they are used in various similes and metaphors. These rivers are:

Gaṅgā,

Yamunā,

Aciravatī,

Sarabhū, and

Mahī.
