Paṭhama Migajāla Sutta
SuttaDie erste Lehrrede an Migajāla, in der der Buddha erklärt, dass, wer sich an Sinnesobjekten erfreut, in Wahrheit „mit einem Gefährten lebt“, während wer das Verlangen aufgegeben hat, unabhängig von den äußeren Umständen in Wahrheit „allein lebt“.
Migajāla visits the Buddha and asks what is meant by a dweller in solitude (ekavihārī) and what by one living with a companion (sadutiyavihārī). The Buddha answers that he who is enamoured of objects of sense is “one living with a companion,” while he who has cast off craving is “a dweller in solitude.” S.iv.35 f.
