Person佛陀信徒遇難時可祈求的主要夜叉之一，也被提及曾出席《大集會經》的說法；覺音論師說他其實是乾闥婆。
One of the chief yakkhas to be invoked by the Buddha’s followers in time of need (D.iii.204). He is also mentioned in the Mahāsamaya Sutta (D.ii.258).
Buddhaghosa says (DA.ii.688) that Panāda was a Gandhabba.
