Also known as Pañcamahānadī

印度五大河的合称——恒河（Gaṅgā）、阎牟那河（Yamunā）、Aciravatī 河、Sarabhū 河与 Mahī 河，常在譬喻中并举。

In several places in the texts five rivers are mentioned as the five great rivers (mahānadī) of India, and they are used in various similes and metaphors. These rivers are:

Gaṅgā,

Yamunā,

Aciravatī,

Sarabhū, and

Mahī.
