Person蘇羅陀（Suraṭṭha）國王，法阿育王（Dhammāsoka）的顧問，餓鬼難陀迦（Nandaka，優多羅 Uttarā 之父）現身勸導他遵循佛陀教法。
King of Suraṭṭha, a contemporary of Dhammāsoka, whose adviser he was. One day, as Piṅgala was returning from Dhammāsoka’s court, the hungry ghost (peta) Nandaka, father of Uttarā, revealed himself and instructed him to follow the Buddha’s teaching. Pv.iv.3; PvA.244 ff.
