Person苏罗陀（Suraṭṭha）国王，法阿育王（Dhammāsoka）的顾问，饿鬼难陀迦（Nandaka，优多罗 Uttarā 之父）现身劝导他遵循佛陀教法。
King of Suraṭṭha, a contemporary of Dhammāsoka, whose adviser he was. One day, as Piṅgala was returning from Dhammāsoka’s court, the hungry ghost (peta) Nandaka, father of Uttarā, revealed himself and instructed him to follow the Buddha’s teaching. Pv.iv.3; PvA.244 ff.
