카시국에 있는 도시로, 아사카 왕의 수도. 바라문 바바리의 거처 근처에 있었던 것으로 보인다.

A city in Kāsi-raṭṭha, the capital of the Assaka king. J.ii.155 f; J.iii.3; see also VvA.259.

It was probably near the residence of Bāvarī (see SNA.ii.581).
