Sutta

A discourse in which the Buddha tells the wanderer Potaliya of four kinds of people, distinguished by whether they praise and criticize rightly or wrongly.

The Buddha tells the wanderer Potaliya, who visits him, of four kinds of persons found in the world: those who praise and dispraise rightly and seasonably, and those who praise and dispraise wrongly and unseasonably. A.ii.100 ff.
