Puṅkhagāma
Placeスリランカのダッキナデーサにある村で、かつてマーナーバラナが別名で住んでいた地であり、パラッカマバーフ一世の生誕地でもある。彼はのちに自らの生家跡に高い記念塔を建立した。
A village in the Dakkhiṇadesa of Sri Lanka, where Mānābharaṇa lived under the name of Virabāhu (Cv.lxi.26) and where Parakkamabāhu I was born (Ibid., lxxii.18). Parakkamabāhu subsequently erected there the Sūtigharacetiya, one hundred and eighty feet high, on the site of the house in which he was born. Ibid., lxxix.61.
