A brahmin whose hermitage near the Pubbakoṭṭhaka in Sāvatthi was a favourite resort of monks, and where the Buddha taught a discourse on the noble search.

A brahmin whose hermitage was in Sāvatthi, near the Pubbakoṭṭhakā. It was a great resort of the monks, and there the Buddha taught the Ariyapariyesanā Sutta. M.i.160.
