Person고대의 왕으로, 큰 보시를 행했음에도 욕계 천상을 넘어서지 못한 이들의 명단에 이름이 올라 있으며, 다른 곳에서 죽은 뒤 강력한 신이 되었다고 전해지는 왕과 동일 인물일 가능성이 있다.
A king of long ago, mentioned in a list of persons, who, though they held great almsgivings, could not attain beyond the sensual worlds (kāmāvacara) (J.vi.99). It is probably the same king that is mentioned in the Bhūridatta Jātaka (J.vi.203) as having become a mahesakkha deva after death.
