Jātakaअपनी युग्म कथा जैसी ही वर्तमान कथा का प्रयोग करने वाली एक जातक कथा, जिसमें बुद्ध बताते हैं कि पूर्वजन्मों में प्रज्वलित प्रेम पुनः उठ खड़ा होता है, जैसे कमल अपने ही सरोवर में फिर से खिल उठता है।
The story of the present is the same as in the above Jātaka. When the Buddha returned to the monastery he was asked how the brahmin had recognised him. He explained how, in those who have loved in previous lives, love springs afresh, like lotus in the pond. J.i.234 f
