Jātaka짝을 이루는 본생담과 같은 현재 이야기를 사용하는 본생담으로, 부처님이 과거세에 지펴진 사랑은 연못에서 다시 피어나는 연꽃처럼 새롭게 솟아난다고 설명한다.
The story of the present is the same as in the above Jātaka. When the Buddha returned to the monastery he was asked how the brahmin had recognised him. He explained how, in those who have loved in previous lives, love springs afresh, like lotus in the pond. J.i.234 f
