Un ascète errant qui interrogea Sāriputta sur le Nibbāna et, une autre fois, sur le bonheur et le malheur.

v.l. Sāmandakāni, Sāmañcakāni.– A wanderer (paribbājaka), mentioned (S.iv.261 f) as having visited Sāriputta at Ukkacelā (Ukkāvelā) and questioned him regarding nibbāna, and again (A.v.121 f) at Nālakagāma, where he questioned him regarding weal and woe.

He is, perhaps, to be identified with Sāmaññakāni.
