An eminent nun from India who, together with Mahāruhā, led twenty thousand nuns to Sri Lanka at King Abhaya’s invitation and taught the Tipiṭaka in Anurādhapura.

An eminent Therī of Jambudīpa who, with Mahāruhā, came to Sri Lanka at the head of twenty thousand nuns at the invitation of King Abhaya and taught the Tipiṭaka in Anurādhapura. Dpv.xviii.31 f.
