Sambhūta

Ein Unberührbarer, Bruder Cittas und Neffe des Bodhisatta, dessen Geschichte im Citta-Sambhūta-Jātaka erzählt wird und der als frühere Geburt Ānandas gilt.

An outcaste (caṇḍāla), brother of Citta. He was the Bodhisatta’s sister’s son. See the Citta-Sambhūta Jātaka. Sambhūta is identified with Ānanda. J.iv.401.
