Une rivière traversant Rājagaha, sur les rives de laquelle se trouvait le parc des ascètes errants fréquenté par de célèbres errants du temps du Bouddha, située entre Andhakavinda et Rājagaha et identifiée à l’actuelle rivière Pañcāna.
A river that flowed through Rājagaha.
On its bank was a Paribbājakārāma where famous wanderers lived in the Buddha’s time (A.i.185; ii.29, 176; S.i.153).
The river lay between Andhakavinda and Rājagaha, and probably rose in Gijjhakūṭa (see Vin. Texts i.254, n.2).
It is identified with the Pañcāna River. Law, E.G.I., p.38.
