ヴィジャヤ王子が到着した当時、その長がマハーカーラセーナであったスリランカのヤッカ（夜叉）の都市で、ジュティンダラという別のヤッカもそこに住んでいた。

A city of the yakkhas in Sri Lanka (Tambapaṇṇidīpa) (See the Valāhassa Jātaka; cf. Mhv.vii.32).

According to the Mahāvaṃsa Ṭīkā (MT. 259), at the time of Vijaya’s arrival in Sri Lanka, the chief Yakkha of the city was Mahākālasena.

Jutindhara was the name of another yakkha who lived there. MT. 289.
