A millionaire’s son of Bārāṇasī who became a renowned teacher after ordaining under the Buddha Kassapa, was reborn in Tusita, and in a later human birth again ordained and became an Arahant.

In the past he had been a millionaire’s son of Bārāṇasī and had joined the Order under Kassapa Buddha, becoming famous as a teacher. After death he was born in Tusita, and in this life was born among men, with a fragrant body hence his name. He entered the Order and became an Arahant. Ap.ii.459-63.
