A gardener of Kosambī. He worked for three millionaires Ghosaka, Kukkuṭa, and Pāvārika. With their permission, he entertained the Buddha one day, and it was at his house that Khujjuttarā (q.v.) met and heard the Buddha. DhA.i.208 f.
