Talaṅga
Place斯里兰卡的一处地方，或位于比扬古提巴（Piyaṅgudīpa），以法施长老（Dhammadinna）的住处闻名，境内有名为提婆罗吉多（Devarakkhitalena）的石窟。
A locality in Sri Lanka, perhaps in Piyaṅgudīpa. It is known chiefly as having been the residence of the elder Dhammadinna. Mhv.xxxii.52; VbhA.389, 489; Vism.392, 834.
It may be the place mentioned in the Saddhammasaṅgaha (p.88) as the residence of Mahādhammadinna, under the name of Talaṅgaratissa-pabbata (elsewhere (MT.606, n.2) called Vālaṅgatissapabbata). There was a cave in it called Devarakkhitalena.
According to the Majjhimanikāya Commentary (i.149 f), Talaṅgaratissa-pabbata was in Rohaṇa, and between it and Tissamahārāma lay the monasteries of Haṅkana and Cittala-pabbata. v.l. Talaṅka, Tālaṅkara, Tālaṅganagara.
