Một bài thơ Pali gồm tám mươi tám bài kệ, được cho là do trưởng lão Kalyāṇi tụng sau khi bị vua Kalyāṇi Tissa, người nghi ngờ ông tư thông với hoàng hậu, ném vào một vạc dầu sôi.

A Pāḷi poem of eighty-eight stanzas supposed to have been uttered by Kalyāṇi Thera on being thrown into a cauldron of boiling oil by King Kalyāṇi Tissa (24), who suspected him of having been accessory to an intrigue with his queen.
