Thūlatthana
PersonLe deuxième fils de Saddhā Tissa, couronné roi de Sri Lanka à la mort de son père, mais renversé après un peu plus d’un mois par son frère aîné Lañjatissa ; durant son bref règne, il fit construire le monastère de Kandara et un sanctuaire sur Sirīsamālaka.
Second son of Saddhā Tissa and king of Sri Lanka (59 B.C.).
On his father’s death the ministers crowned him king, but after a reign of only one month and a few days his elder brother Lañjatissa overpowered him and seized the throne.
Thūlathana built the Kandara-vihāra (Mhv.xxxiii.15 ff) and a cetiya on the Sirīsamālaka (MT.355).
