Timbaruka
Person苦楽の起源を論じるためサーヴァッティーで仏を訪れた遊行者で、一切の有為法の根底に無明があると知り、仏の信奉者となったと伝えられる。
A wanderer (paribbājaka) who visited the Buddha at Sāvatthi and discussed with him the origin of pleasure and pain. The Buddha explained to him how ignorance was at the root of all conditioned existence.
It is said that Timbaruka became a follower of the Buddha (S.ii.22 f).
