A village that the elder Revata visited on his way from Kaṇṇakujja toward Aggalapura and Sahajāti, where other elders came to consult him about the Vajjian monks’ disputed practices.

A village. Revata went there from Kaṇṇakujja and stopped there before proceeding to Aggalapura and Sahajāti. The elders followed him there to ask his opinion on the Vajjian heresy. Vin.ii.299.
