Younger brother of Vijayabāhu I. He was made uparājā and put in charge of Dakkhiṇadesa. He married Subhaddā. He helped the king in the conquest of Pulatthipura when the Velakkāra troops revolted. Cv.lix. 11, 43; lx. 40.
