Vajirā3
Place一座城市,由提婆(Deva)的二十六代后裔相继统治,末代君主为萨提那(Sādhina),据说佛陀的钵与锡杖在其涅槃后曾供奉于此。
A city in which reigned twenty-six kings, descendants of Deva. The last of them was called Sādhina (Dpv.iii.20). The Mahāvaṃsa Ṭīkā (p.128, 130) calls the city Vajiravutti. According to the Buddhavaṃsa (Bu.xxviii.8), the Buddha’s bowl and staff were deposited, after his death, in Vajirā.
