Vanasavhaya

베디사와 꼬삼비 사이, 바와리 제자들이 지나간 길목에 있는 도시로, 툼바와나가라의 다른 이름으로 전해지며 와나사왓티라고도 불린다.

Vanasavhaya.– A city, lying between Vedisa and Kosambī, on the road taken by Bāvarī’s disciples (SN. vs. 1011).

The Commentary states (SNA.ii.583) that this was another name for Tumbavanagara (v.l. Pavana), and that it was also called Vanasāvatthi.
