Vanasavhaya

Place

位于吠提舍（Vedisā）与拘睒弥（Kosambī）之间的一座城市，是婆吠利（Bāvarī）弟子所走路线上的一站，据说即敦婆城（Tumbavanagara）的别名，又称林中舍卫（Vanasāvatthi）。

Vanasavhaya.– A city, lying between Vedisa and Kosambī, on the road taken by Bāvarī’s disciples (SN. vs. 1011).

The Commentary states (SNA.ii.583) that this was another name for Tumbavanagara (v.l. Pavana), and that it was also called Vanasāvatthi.
