루빠사리의 남편이자 사리뿟따의 아버지인 바라문으로, 그의 친구 마하세나의 아들이 훗날 사리뿟따의 시자가 되었다.

A brahmin, father of Sāriputta (SNA.i.331; UdA.266) (q.v.) and husband of Rūpasārī (Ap.i.102).

The brahmin Mahāsena was his friend, and the son of another friend became Sāriputta’s attendant (DhA.ii.94).
