Veḷudvāra
Person코살라인의 브라만 마을로, 입구의 대나무 숲을 따서 이름 붙었다고 하며, 부처가 한때 머물며 벨루드바레이야 경(Veḷudvāreyya Sutta)을 설한 곳이다.
A brahmin village of the Kosalans where the Buddha once stayed and taught the Veḷudvāreyya Sutta (S.v.352).
Buddhaghosa says (SA.iii.217) that the place was so called owing to the tradition of the presence of a bamboo thicket at the entrance to the village.
