Person붓다 피야닷시의 탑 주위에 난간을 세운 아라한으로, 십육 겁 전에는 마닙파바사라는 이름으로 서른두 번 왕이 되었으며, 분명히 위자야 장로와 동일 인물이다.
An Arahant. He built a railing round the thūpa of Piyadassī Buddha.
Sixteen world-cycles ago he was king thirty-two times under the name of Manippabhāsa (Ap.i.171).
He is evidently identical with Vijaya Thera. ThagA.i.192.
