Verī Jātaka
Jātaka集めた債権を持って帰宅中に道中で盗賊がいるのに気づいた裕福な商人が、牛を全速力で急がせ無事に家にたどり着いたという話で、同様の経験をしたことのあるアナータピンディカに語られた本生話。
The Bodhisatta was once a rich merchant, and one day, while on his way home from a village where he had collected his dues, he noticed that there were robbers about. He, therefore, urged his oxen on to the top of their speed and reached home safely.
The story was told to Anāthapiṇḍika, who had a similar experience. J.i.412 f.
