One of the Four Great Regent Kings, guardian of the south, who sits facing north in the assembly of the devas and rules over the Kumbhaṇḍas.

One of the Four Regent Kings (Cātummahārājāno).

He is the king of the south, and, in the assembly of the devas, sits facing north (D.ii.207, 221).

He is lord of the Kumbhaṇḍā. D.iii.198; Dvy.126, 148.
