Person斯里蘭卡的一位僧人，舍利弗長老的弟子，著有多部語法註釋，也可能是巴利文《塔史》及若干僧伽羅文著作的作者。
A monk of Sri Lanka, pupil of Sāriputta Thera.
Numerous works are assigned to him, among them Commentaries on the various books of grammar: the Sambandhacintā-ṭīkā, the Subodhālaṅkāra-ṭīkā, and the Vuttodayavivaraṇa.
He also wrote the Sumaṅgalapasādanī on the Khuddasikkhā and a commentary on the Moggallānavyākarana (P.L.C. 204).
He seems also to have written the Pāḷi Thūpavaṃsa and several books in Singhalese. P.L.C.217; also Gv.62, 71.
