Vājapeyya
Other주석서에서 두 가지로 설명되는 제사 의식으로, 하나는 사람들에게 친절하고 상냥한 말로 인사하는 것이고, 다른 하나는 소마를 마시고 열일곱 마리 동물을 열일곱 번 바치는 제사이다.
A sacrificial offering; the Commentaries (e.g., ItvA. 75, 76) give it two interpretations:
Greeting people kindly with soft and pleasant speech (peyyavajjam, piyavācatā);
A sacrifice in which Soma (Vāja) is drunk.
In the second seventeen animals are offered seventeen times.
