Yudhiṭṭhila3
Personクルー国のダナンジャヤ王が属した氏族の名で、クルーの歴代王はこの氏族の子孫であると称した。
The name of a clan (gotta) to which Dhanañjaya, king of the Kurū, belonged (J.iii.400; v. 59, etc.) Mention is made also of a Koravyarājā of the Yudhiṭṭhilagotta (J.iv.361).
Probably the kings of the Kurū (q.v.) belonged mostly to a dynasty that claimed its descent from Yudhiṭṭhila (Yudhisthira?).
