Ñāṇasaññaka

Person

An arahant who in a past life paid homage to the Buddha Siddhattha and is thought to be the same person as the elder Subāhu.

An Arahant. In a past life he met Siddhattha Buddha and paid him homage. Seventy-three world-cycles ago he became a king sixteen times (Ap.i.140 f). He is probably identical with Subāhu Thera. (ThagA.i.124).
