Āḷavi-Gotama
Person믿음을 통해 아라한과를 얻었다고 전해지는 장로로, 부처님이 바와리 도량에서 광선으로 나타나 삥기야에게 설하신 숫따니빠따의 게송에서 언급된다.
A thera, who, according to Buddhaghosa (SnA.ii.606), attained Arahantship through faith.
He is mentioned in the Suttanipāta (vers.1146) in a verse spoken by the Buddha to Piṅgiya when the Buddha appeared in a ray of light at Bāvarī’s hermitage.
