Āḷavi-Gotama
Personශ්රද්ධාව මගින් රහත්භාවයට පත් වූ බව කියැවෙන ස්ථවිරයෙකි; බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ බාවරි තපෝවනයේ ආලෝක කිරණයක් ලෙස පෙනී වදාරන අවස්ථාවේ පිංගිය හට වදාළ සුත්තනිපාතයේ ගාථාවක සඳහන් වේ.

He is mentioned in the Suttanipāta (vers.1146) in a verse spoken by the Buddha to Piṅgiya when the Buddha appeared in a ray of light at Bāvarī’s hermitage.
